LIN333 – Morphological patterns in language

Below are lecture notes for the course I taught on morphology and morphological theory at the University of Toronto during the winter of 2019. The course is based around a few different textbooks, most notably Fábregas and Scalise's Morphology: From Data to Theories during the first few weeks, though many of my lectures go beyond what they discuss.

These notes are the result of teaching from the various readings mentioned in the syllabus and are offered as a resource for study and educational purposes. As a disclaimer, please note that my interpretation of these works may not be fully accurate or may deviate from their intended import. There may be mistakes for which I am responsible, and there are definitely typos; they are offered as-is.
